MPPI Introduction

Introduction

Madanpokhara Polytechnic Institute (MPPI) was established in 2018 under the Council for Technical Education and Vocational Training (CTEVT) to provide technical education and vocational training in agriculture, information technology, and other vocational areas.

Located in Tansen Municipality, ward No. 9, Damkada, Palpa, MPPI spans 120 ropani of land with dedicated buildings for administration, academics, and agriculture (including vegetable, fruit orchards, livestock farms, and a fish pond) along with a dense natural forest.

Initially launched with a Diploma in Plant Science, MPPI now offers diplomas in Agriculture (Plant Science and Animal Science) and Information Technology. Additionally, in the fiscal year 2075/76, over 600 individuals received vocational training through short-term programs.

The mission of the institute is to promote technical education and vocational training rooted in Nepalese tradition with a global outlook.

MPPI aims to deliver quality education that blends knowledge, skill, and values essential for personal and professional success in niche technical areas. As a non-profit public organization, MPPI is committed to providing globally employable technical education to reduce youth unemployment in Nepal.
